Brympton House, Yeovil - Fantastic Wedding Venue

Niel and Laura's Wedding - Saturday 2nd March 2013
Brympton House, Brympton D'Evercy, Yeovil

This was an absolutely beautiful venue - and fantastic to have everything on site.  The bridal suite had beautiful light and plenty of room to get ready, eat strawberries and drink champagne!  The chapel was pretty and intimate, the reception room was at the top of a stunning wooden staircase and was light and airy with beautiful views across the pond, complete with resident swans!  The evening reception was just across from the main entrance, complete with bar, dance floor and a room to chill in!  Ellie and her team took care of all the little details to create a stunning backdrop for this lovely wedding.  Congratulations to Niel and Laura and thank you for choosing me as your wedding photographer!

Canon 5D MARK III - for Wedding Photography

Canon 5dMarkIII for Wedding Photography

I spent many weeks deliberating whether to invest in the 5D mark III and wondering whether it was worth the price increase from the mark II.  So what convinced me?  Having done lots of research both online and speaking to other professional photographers it seemed that the 2 things that I really was looking for in a camera for wedding photography were almost guaranteed in the markIII and perhaps slightly hit and miss in the markII - those being reliability and versatility.  The high ISO is a great feature for wedding photography and the second memory card slot is also a welcome extra.  I'm still photographing everything in RAW but now have the reassurance of back up files in jpeg.  The mark III is also incredibly easy to use and has some natty little features, like the ability to compare 2 images side by side - a great time saver if you are lucky enough to get a lull period at a wedding!!  So, here are the results from my first 5d mark III wedding!  I love it!
