Canon 50mm 1:8

Some photos from a 70th birthday celebration in London on Sunday. All images were taken using a canon fixed 50mm, all taken on an aperture of 2.0. This little lens is incredible value for money - superb quality - great return for a small inevestment. I love this lens and haven't used it nearly enough since buying my 5D mark iii. So glad I resurrected it for this event as I'm really pleased with the results and barely touched photoshop - no enhancement required! - what a beauty!

Baby Photography

Another baby shoot yesterday - this beautiful little girl is just 2 months old and was an absolute natural - a little super model in the making! I was accused of being broody yesterday -she would make anyone broody though - she's adorable! x x x

Model Mayhem at Melen Studios

Today was another great Melen day. Thanks to Phil for organising some fabulous models (all via Model Mayhem), and to the models themselves - they were awesome today! Also, thanks to Mark for bringing the Harley!!! - made my day!
